Virgil Abloh's Latest Eyewear for Louis Vuitton Is for the Bold
Introducing the “LV Rainbow” collection.
Virgil Abloh has been involved in a handful of projects lately, ranging from his latest Off-White™ x Nike Zoom Vapor Street sneaker silhouette to his latest Spring/Summer 2020 collection for Louis Vuitton, shown at Paris Fashion Week Men’s. Now, the designer has just released his latest collection of eyewear for the luxury fashion house.
Titled “LV Rainbow,” the range takes on a multicolor palette which has been a recurring motif in the designer’s previous projects, such as the colorblocked runway seen at his debut collection for Vuitton last year. The new lineup of sunglasses features two different silhouettes, the “LV Rainbow Square” and the “LV Rainbow Pilot.” Both frames come in a handful of colors ranging from red to yellow, as well as subtle “Louis Vuitton” branding etched into the left corner of the lenses . Lastly, the luxury “LV” monogram can be seen across the temples.
The LV Rainbow Square will retail at $405 USD and the LV Rainbow Pilot at $420 USD, and are currently available online at louisvuitton.com. Take a look at the eye-catching eyewear collection in the gallery above and let us know which shades are your favorites.
