MCA Chicago Drops Neon-Colored Merch in Celebration of Virgil Abloh's "Figures of Speech" Exhibit
Act quickly.
Following up on the official launch of Virgil Abloh‘s “Figures of Speech” exhibit at MCA Chicago, the museum unveils an exclusive neon collection. Arriving with the designer’s signature style, the three pieces include a T-shirt and two hats created with graphics reminiscent of those seen on Off-White™ designs.
Detailing on the two hats includes Off-White™’s signature arrow motif. While the tee speaks to Abloh’s background in architecture, the graphic on the front features a schematic-like blueprint. Additionally, the AMO front graphic is an ode to Samir Banatal, director of the OMA architectural firm’s AMO offshoot that spearheaded the exhibition. Each of the pieces also comes with a bright orange “Abloh” label badge.
To purchase the collection, head over to MCA Chicago’s official website. Pricing ranges between $48 USD to $67 USD respectively.
