YouTube's New Fashion Initiative Will Get You Exclusive Access During Fashion Month
Introducing the new platform, Slash Fashion.
Ahead of fashion month, YouTube has launched a new fashion platform that is aiming to give viewers an inside look at the industry. Tackling the “big four” fashion weeks: New York, London, Milan and Paris, which take place twice a year in February and September, the platform will host exclusive content from shows, events and more.
The platform, dubbed “Slash Fashion,” will live online at youtube.com/fashion, and will be live-streaming runway shows from designers including Ralph Lauren, Michael Kors and Dior throughout the month. In addition, there will also be content from fashion insiders like Alexa Chung and Alexander Wang.
“Our goal is to make YouTube.com/Fashion a diverse and inclusive place, filled with the latest fashion and beauty trends, content and more,” said Derek Blasberg, fashion and beauty director at YouTube about the new initiative, adding that “(they’ll) be working over the coming months to bring more international voices to the page and localise for global markets.”
As fashion month kicks off today, make sure to keep an eye on the new platform over at youtube.com/fashion. For more fashion videos, don’t miss Kaia Gerber’s “What’s in my bag?” video here.
