NOAH Releases Tees to Support Australia's Devastating Bushfires
All proceeds go towards the country’s largest wildlife rescue organization.
Australia has taken news headlines all over the world with its bushfire crisis, which has burned over 32,000 square miles of land. As big names in the fashion industry including Gucci, Bottega Veneta and Balenciaga have pledged to support, NOAH has also joined in on the cause by revealing a set of tees with all proceeds going to the country’s largest wildlife rescue organization, WIRES.
“Please consider sharing this with friends to help us maximize support. If you don’t like the T-shirt, you can always just donate to WIRES directly,” the description reads, followed by numbers to show how critical the fire has been to the home of kangaroos and koalas: “This is larger than the Amazon fires by 7,000 square miles and 80 times larger than the 2019 fires in California.”
Arriving in bright yellow and white, each tee sports a koala bear holding up an “Australia” graphic along with NOAH’s signature branding placed on the left wrist. According to the product page, this item “can be worn as a symbol to show you’re willing to help, or as a scarlet letter, acknowledging the crimes we’ve all had a hand in committing that have led us to this point.” Peep the gallery above to take a closer look.
