sacai Unveils New Nike Pegasus Vaporfly Collaboration for FW20
Take a closer look at the full collection from Paris Fashion Week Men’s.
Following up on the success of its massively popular Nike LDWaffle collaboration last year, sacai has unveiled another forthcoming release with Swoosh. This time around, Chitose Abe will be introducing a collaborative Nike Pegasus Vaporfly hybrid design. Revealed at sacai’s Fall/Winter 2020 runway show at Paris Fashion Week Men’s, audiences were able to get a first glimpse at the highly anticipated release, which made an appearance in three different colorways: “Black/Summit White/Pure Platinum”, “Sail/Sport Fuchsia/Light Bone/Game Royal” and “String/Black-Villain Red/Neptune Green.”
Taking a closer look at the trainers backstage, various textures can be seen on the upper such as large mesh, nubuck suede and also what appears to be a glossy silk-like textile on the lateral Swoosh logo. The sneakers were also worn with a double set of shoelaces in different colors. Although details are still unknown regarding the exact release date of the sneakers, stay tuned here as we find out more.
