Apple TV+ Orders New Docuseries Titled 'The Supermodels'

Exploring the careers of Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford, Linda Evangelista and Christy Turlington.

Apple TV+ has announced that a new documentary series is currently in the works, called The Supermodels. Set to be directed and executive produced by two-time Oscar-winner Barbara Kopplethe show will explore the iconic careers of Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford, Christy Turlington and Linda Evangelista.

The docuseries will include exclusive interviews with all four women who will share their stories about how they ended up modeling in the ’80s in New York City, and how they collectively disrupted the ’90s fashion scene. “My sisters Christy, Linda, Cindy and I are extremely thrilled to share our story with the world,” Campbell wrote on Instagram. “We hope our journey seen in the docuseries will encourage, motivate and inspire young people around the world.” Turlington and Evangelista also shared their excitement on their social media accounts, along with Crawford who said: “I’m excited to reunite with my friends to both celebrate and examine the way supermodels transcended the traditional perceptions and limits of modeling in the fashion industry through time.”

No specific release date has been disclosed by the streaming service yet, so stay tuned while we wait for more details to surface.
