Support the Amazon Rainforest With Costa Brazil x Pangaia’s Collaboration
A hoodie and T-shirt range that helps protect the “lungs of the Earth.”
Following its partnership with the United Nations, Pangaia has now joined forces with Costa Brazil for a capsule that supports the Amazon rainforest and its Indigenous communities. The range features an additional collaboration with New York-based artist Nick Theobald.
Comprised of a hoodie and T-shirt in two colorways dubbed “Off-White” and “Stone,” the limited lineup highlights the issue of climate change and human activity that is threatening the rainforest. All profits are being donated to Amazon Forever, a campaign led by nonprofit organizations Conservation International and BrazilFoundation, which aid the rural areas of the Amazon.
Both the hoodies and tees arrive with minimal design details. Theobald’s repetitive word art is splashed across the back, reading “AMAZONIA FOREVER.” The trio’s names are printed out just beneath, while the front of the garments is complete with text pointing out Pangaia’s sustainable supply chain: “This T-shirt is colored with an environmentally friendly dye, created using a recycled water system. The fabric is made from 100% organic cotton.”
