Maison Margiela Debuts Archive-Inspired Tabi Clogs for SS20
As well as a handful of new Tabi silhouettes.
Ahead of the Spring/Summer 2020 season, Maison Margiela has added a selection of new silhouettes to its ever-growing lineup of Tabi designs. The split-toe shoe has become synonymous with the luxury fashion house, and has become an iconic piece that has been reimagined for over 30 years. Inspired by the original Japanese Tabi silhouette, the SS20 collection features Tabi Clogs, Tabi Cox, loafers and boots.
The Tabi clog takes inspiration from the Margiela archive, featuring debossed detailing alongside the Tabi sandals and loafers, which reimagine the silhouette into an everyday staple with a slip-on design. New for the season are the Tabi Cox, which sport a new and flattened curvy design that completes the shoe’s unique look. The silhouette arrives in both a boot as well as a pump-inspired design, ideal for the upcoming spring season.
