Nike to Drop "London" & "Amsterdam" Air Max 1s as Part of Its City Pack Series
Slated to release on March 19.
Following the release of its “Paris” and “Milan” silhouettes, Nike is set to launch two new additions to its city pack series. Inspired by London and Amsterdam, the Swoosh brand has given the classic Air Max 1 a makeover featuring contrasting color palettes on both sneakers.
The “London” version comes in an elegant “Grey/Valerian Blue” colorway arriving in a mesh, suede and corduroy upper in reference to the city’s architectural diversity. As a tribute to the red brick buildings and winding canals of Amsterdam, the “Red/Khaki/Peach” pair is paneled with a mix of smooth and rugged suede, corduroy and leather. Additionally, the city’s official coat of arms symbol, “XXX,” has been embroidered onto the tongue and towards the toe box of the shoe.
Take a look at both designs in the gallery above. The Air Max 1 “London” and “Amsterdam” retail for $195 USD each and will be available on select stockists such as END. on March 19. In other news, don’t forget to check out the UNDEFEATED x Nike Air Max 90 in “Black.”
