Kiko Kostadinov and ASICS to Drop the GEL-Kiril Silhouette in "Ice" Blue
The perfect spring statement piece.
Back in February, Kiko Kostadinov and ASICS revealed yet another collaborative sneaker drop. The duo teamed up to create the GEL-Kiril, a silhouette that Kostadinov debuted on the runway during Paris Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2020.
Following the current “Cilantro” and “Black” colorways, “Ice” will finally be available at select retailers this week. The pair sports a glossy diamond-pattern leather upper that has been stitched over a yellow mesh base. The FlyteFoam midsole features layers of wavy lines and comes with the sportswear label’s signature GEL cushioning in both the heel and forefoot that provides extra comfort. Rounding out the design is a floral-pattern at the heel, as well as Kostadinov’s name stamped onto the insoles.
The Kiko Kostadinov x ASICS GEL-Kiril in “Ice” retails for £175 GBP (approximately $220 USD) and will be available via Dover Street Market’s website on April 18. In the meantime, check out the brand’s latest GEL-Lyte III in “Smoke Blue.”
