Kiko Kostadinov Debuts Another Collaboration With ASICS
Shot in the designer’s hometown in Bulgaria.
Long-time ASICS collaborator Kiko Kostadinov has once again teamed up with the sportswear label for another sneaker release, this time debuting a colorful statement shoe that is a must-have this spring. Featuring a green and white checkered upper sat atop a green sole, the shoe is a bold iteration that is guaranteed to turn heads on the street. The outsole sports a floral-pattern in rubber, and the trainer is finished off with recognizable ASICS branding at back. The sneaker marks an iconic collaboration in history, as it is the first time a collaborator has been allowed to work on its own silhouette and sole unit.
This time around, the campaign for the upcoming release took to Kostadinov’s hometown in Bulgaria to showcase the sneaker on the designer’s home turf. The ASICS Gel-Kiril sneaker is set to release at retailers including Dover Street Market London on February 8.
