Lyst has just released its report for Q1 of 2020 and for the third successive quarter, Off-White™  has been named fashion’s hottest brand. Just below the Virgil Abloh-helmed label, Balenciaga claims second place followed by Nike, Gucci and Prada.

The ongoing coronavirus pandemic has greatly impacted the fashion industry across the globe and has changed the dynamic of the way people shop online. According to The Lyst Index, the “demand for fashion face masks saw a 496 percent surge in searches over the quarter.” Other key highlights from the report reveal that Nike, which climbed nine places into third place, has earned its spot due to an increase in consumer demand for loungewear items such as hoodies, sweatpants and shorts. Following the announcement of Raf Simons joining Prada as its new Co-Creative Director, a spike in social mentions for the Italian fashion label increased by 911 percent. Simons’ namesake label has also re-entered the list, placing at number 17 this quarter.

Head on over to Lyst’s website for the full Q1 2020 report. In case you missed it, don’t forget to check out the platform’s new Conscious Fashion Report.
