Vans' Full-Length Skateboarding Film, 'Credits,' Features an All-Female Cast
Shot and directed by filmmaker and skateboarder, Shari White.
Earlier this week, Vans debuted a skateboarding film titled Credits featuring an all-women cast. The full-length project was shot and directed by filmmaker and skateboarder Shari White between April 2019 and March 2020. She shared in a press release:
“Everyone had the opportunity to film their best skating over the past year, with their homies cheering them on. That is what skateboarding is all about! The laughter and friendship, along with the battles — I hope viewers get a sense of that feeling.”
The film stars three underground favorites — Una Farrar, Breana Geering and Fabiana Delfino — and “highlights the unique, individual style and expression of a group of friends that skate, hang and travel together.” The project also features cameo appearances from Vans’ team riders and friends such as Beatrice Domond, Cher Strauberry, Clara Solar, Poppy Olsen (the film’s Art Director), Helena Long, Adelaide Norris, Dayana Young and White herself. Additionally, Credits includes footage captured across the U.S., Canada, Melbourne and Barcelona.
