Peep the Secret Details on the Upcoming Vans x OTH x Paul Labonté Authentic Vault LX
Inspired by graffiti and Montréal’s hip hop movement in the late ’90s.
For its latest collaborative drop, Vault by Vans has teamed up with Off The Hook and Montréal-based content creator Paul Labonté (AKA Paul 107) to create a new iteration of the Authentic Vault LX silhouette. The sneaker arrives in an all-white design featuring secret details throughout.
The shoe was inspired by Labonté’s interest in graffiti and Montréal’s hip hop movement in the late ’90s, as well as the early beginnings of the original OTH boutique store. The pair sports a 20-ounce duck canvas and comes in Vans‘ original sip sole. The words “one hundred and seven” have been embroidered in cursive on the tongue, which was hand-drawn by Labonté’s long-time friend and graffiti artist, Shok SIK. Finally, OTH branding can be found alongside Vans’ signature logo, as well as Labonté’s name on the canvas insole.
In honor of the 107 bus that took Labonté from his neighborhood to downtown Montréal back in the day, only 107 pairs of shoes will be available to purchase. The Vault by Vans x OTH x Paul Labonté Authentic Vault LX retails for $120 CAD (approximately $84 USD), which will be available on April 22 at 9 a.m. EST via OTH’s website.
