Awake NY's SS20 Lookbook Spotlights Its Signature Pieces With Bold Graphics
A portion of the proceeds from the sale will be donated to New Immigrant Community Empowerment.
Awake NY has unveiled its Spring/Summer 2020 collection, along with a collaboration with artist Sam Friedman. The range features the brand’s signature garments that sport bold graphics and eye-catching color combinations.
Key designs in the line include the Corduroy Chenille Patch Baseball Jacket, Mohair Cardigan, Knit Intarsia Sweater, Embroidered Roses Flannel Shirt and the Awake NY Classic Logo Hoodie. As for Friedman’s collaboration with the New York-based label, the artist has designed a silk camp shirt and a five-panel camp cap that boasts his original artwork. In addition to the upcoming drop, Awake NY will donate a portion of the proceeds from the sale to New Immigrant Community Empowerment (NICE) – “a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable and precarious immigrant workers in New York.”
Awake NY’s SS20 collection will be available via the brand’s website and Dover Street Market on May 19, while SSENSE will see a later release date of May 26. In case you missed it, don’t forget to check out the latest Awake NY x Reebok collection here.
