H&M Donates $500,000 USD to Organizations Fighting Racial Injustice

Including the NAACP, ACLU and Color of Change.

As Black Lives Matter protests and vigils continue to take place across the U.S., H&M is the latest major retailer to show solidarity with the Black community. In the wake of George Floyd‘s death, the company announced a donation totaling $500,000 USD to the NAACP, ACLU and Color Of Change, three organizations working to fight systemic racism, amplify Black voices and champion human rights.

On Instagram, H&M acknowledged that activism goes “far beyond a social media post,” adding that the company stands with and supports the Black community “today and every day.”
