Take an Exclusive Look at Dior's Cruise 2021 Collection, Inspired by Puglia

Dior unveiled its Cruise 2021 collection, an homage to the traditional arts and crafts of Puglia, Italy. To highlight the skills of local artisans, Maria Grazia Chiuri enlisted a variety of Italian craftsmen — including embroiderer Marilena Sparasci and weavers Giulia and Lucia Starace — to help execute the collection. The new range was even presented (sans audience, in light of the pandemic), at the Piazza del Duomo in Lecce, a town in Puglia.
Dior has shared a series of exclusive images of the new collection with HYPEBAE, providing an up-close look at the meticulous craftsmanship that went into each look. A lush, romantic interpretation of Puglia, the range features floral embroidery, delicate lace gowns and woven interpretations of Dior’s classic Lady bag and Book tote. Gold jewelry celebrates the landscape of Puglia with rings, bracelets and necklaces in the shape of insects, grape leaves and flowers.
