Oh Hyuk Fronts UZ's Summer Campaign for "Eye Opening" Liner
The Korean indie musician breaks beauty standards.
A cult-favorite label stocked at retailers like Dover Street Market Los Angeles, UZ has now tapped Oh Hyuk for its summer campaign featuring the “Eye Opening” liner. Titled “Unframe the Beauty,” the latest visuals from the brand aim to inspire customers to explore their individuality and creativity.
Known not only for his music with indie band HYUKOH but also his authentic, individual style, Oh Hyuk has been at the forefront of Korean fashion by experimenting with unconventional looks. This time around, the artist breaks preconceived notions of beauty campaigns by showcasing colorful illustrations alongside his tattoos using UZ’s eyeliner. Spotted in the images are rough drawings of heart motifs on his hands and a white line running down his face.
