LCD, a platform for emerging and independent womenswear labels, is hosting its semi-annual collaborative warehouse sale dubbed Independent Together. Held virtually this time around due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the organization is offering pieces from designers like Sandy Liang and Collina Strada with discounts up to 90 percent off.
Having launched back in 2017 to provide a platform for independent labels to handle end-of-season inventory, Independent Together allows designers to cross-promote for increased brand awareness. Over the years, the collective has been able to build a community for small business owners in the fashion industry. Going digital, the warehouse sale is hosting brands from across the United States for the first time ever. In addition to Sandy Liang and Collina Strada, participating labels include Botanica Workshop, Clyde, Gabriela Artigas, Leigh Miller, Maimoun, Modern Weaving, Nancy Stella and more.
