Kerby Jean-Raymond, Dapper Dan Star in New Netflix Film on Representation in Fashion

The latest fashion documentary to hit Netflix, The Remix: Hip Hop x Fashion tackles representation and inclusion in entertainment. Directed and produced by two women of color, Farah X and Lisa Cortés, the film explores the impact of streetwear — a movement shaped by Black creatives — on cultural trends and fashion at large. The film features appearances by recognizable figures including Harlem couturier Dapper Dan, Walker Wear Founder April Walker and Kerby Jean-Raymond of Pyer Moss.
