Beyoncé Launches Second Round of Black-Owned Business Grants
Grants totaling $1 million USD will be distributed to recipients.
Beyoncé‘s charitable initiative BeyGOOD has announced that it will donate an additional $1 million USD in funds to small, Black-owned businesses that have been impacted by the coronavirus pandemic. In partnership with the NAACP, grants of $10,000 USD each will be distributed to recipients based in select cities across the U.S.
Currently, the NAACP is accepting donations to benefit the initiative. Though applications for businesses interested in receiving grants have not yet been opened, an announcement on the BeyGOOD Instagram specifies that funding will “open this month.”
