Following the MTV VMAs, the Emmy Awards is one of the biggest events to take place virtually this year due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. As stars like Zendaya and Tracee Ellis Ross get dressed up at home without the red carpet, television shows and movies are celebrated tonight with categories ranging from comedy to reality. Canadian sitcom Schitt’s Creek has swept five trophies including Outstanding Comedy Series and the Outstanding Lead Actor and Actress awards. Meanwhile, Regina King has been crowned Outstanding Actress in a Limited Series or TV Movie for her role in Watchmen, and Mark Ruffalo for the miniseries I Know This Much Is True.
