Matthew Williams Teases 1017 ALYX 9SM's New Signature Sneaker
Featuring the brand’s Rollercoaster belt buckle.
Matthew Williams has given fans a sneak preview of 1017 ALYX 9SM‘s upcoming Signature sneaker. The designer, who recently replaced Clare Waight Keller as creative director for Givenchy, posted two photos of the upcoming shoe, one in a white colorway and the other in all-black.
The first iteration features a perforated white leather upper with sand-colored suede paneling at the toe and heel. ALYX’s Rollercoaster belt buckle is applied to the shoe’s midfoot strap. The second version of the sneaker is constructed with a black upper and midsole, as well as tonal black laces, lending a solid backdrop to the chrome and silver closure.
