Dr. Martens Adds Gems and Charms to 1460 Remastered Boot With Marc Jacobs
Continuing to celebrate its 60th anniversary.
Continuing to roll out collaborations with names like Undercover, A-COLD-WALL* and Needles, Dr. Martens is celebrating its 60th anniversary with yet another team-up, this time with Marc Jacobs. The 1460 Remastered boot arrives with statement-making details for a head-turning look this fall season.
For the latest partnership, the New York designer is spotlighting the spirit of DIY through customizable charms and gems added to the shoe. Golden trinkets including whistles, keychains, dice and more don the shoe on a chain wrapping around the heel. The boot itself is crafted with vegan leather, with the upper dressed in a deep burgundy hue. Rounding off the design is Dr. Marten’s 60th-anniversary tag placed on the tongue, a yellow heel tab and iconic bold stitching running along the midsole.
Peep below for a closer look at the upcoming collaborative boots, which will release at Dr. Martens’ web store and stockists like HBX on September 26.
In case you missed it, Marc Jacobs recently revealed a grungy polysexual collection dubbed “Heaven.”
