Every Single Item From MM6 Maison Margiela x The North Face's FW20 Collaboration
Including circle puffer jackets, Tabi mitts and more.
First revealed on the runway at London Fashion Week in February, the MM6 Maison Margiela x The North Face collaboration is finally becoming available for purchase.
Part of MM6’s Fall/Winter 2020 collection, the co-branded range gives the outdoor gear company’s signature Expedition System an avant-garde makeover. Marrying functionality with style, the partnership features a lineup of accessories and garments that reference the circle concept of MM6.
Arriving in cobalt blue, black, green, yellow, violet and orange, the apparel items are designed with interlocking components that can adapt and enhance the protective properties of the pieces. In particular, the hooded Himalayan Coat, the cape-like Mountain Jacket and the Nuptse puffer are constructed with recycled down insulation. Another popular The North Face silhouette, the Denali fleece, is transformed into a coat-slash-dress and shortened as a zip-up sweater.
The collection is rounded off by accessories that are equal parts statement-making and practical. From the padded Nuptse scarf, to Tabi-esque alpine mittens, to circular backpacks and clutches inspired by the base of The North Face’s Base Camp Duffel, each design perfectly melds the DNAs of the two brands.
Priced between $300 and $1,600 USD, the MM6 x The North Face capsule will launch on October 8 at maisonmargiela.com, in-store at MM6 Maison Margiela boutiques and HBX.
