Aries Looks to the '90s and '00s for Surf-Inspired SS21 Drop
Featuring psychedelic knitwear, laidback denim styles and more.
Kicking off the new year, London-based Aries has unveiled its Spring/Summer 2021 collection inspired by the rave culture, heavy metal and Californian surfing of the ’90s and ’00s. The lookbook highlights a selection of wardrobe staples ranging from everyday basics to outerwear.
The lineup keeps cozy with must-have sweaters that are paired with logo briefs and vibrant sweatpants. Meanwhile, the rave element is spotted on color tees featuring mushroom graphics. Recycled space dye yarn is used throughout on sweater vests to create a psychedelic effect, which is accompanied by Aries’ logo. The same material is used to spell out “No Problemo” on select sweatshirts.
Elsewhere, color-blocking details are found on fleece vests in contrasting shades of blue, red and yellow. A similar theme is continued on a jumper in red and blue. Rounding out the range are standout denim pieces, including a mid-length skirt and cut-off shorts.
