BLACKPINK's Jennie Has Her Own YouTube Channel
Currently at almost 2.5 million subscribers.
BLACKPINK‘s Jennie officially turned 25 on January 16. In celebration of her birthday, the K-pop artist launched her very own YouTube channel under the name “Jennierubyjane Official,” which gained the second most subscribers (1.75 million) in 24 hours in history.
Jennie took to Instagram last week to tease the news to her fellow BLINKS via a post with the caption: “Preparing something fun for you guys.” While it is uncommon for K-pop idols to run their own YouTube channel, the musician has already attracted 2.44 million fans and counting.
In her very first video, “Hello world . From Jennie,” the superstar explains that the purpose of her channel is for her to share what goes on in her daily life. She then films her outfit of the day featuring a vintage Chanel necklace and transitions to a montage of her doing house chores, which is accompanied by her cover of Mandy Moore‘s “When Will My Life Begin?” track from Disney‘s Frozen.
