Swedish retailer H&M has become known for its exciting designer collaborations, having previously worked with names including Karl Lagerfeld, Maison Margiela, Balmain and Moschino, to name a few. Now, the fashion giant has revealed Irish designer Simone Rocha as its next partnership, set to be revealed in March.

The Simone Rocha x H&M collaboration will include womenswear as well as menswear and childrenswear, marking the first time the designer has taken on the latter two. Although the collection has yet to be revealed, H&M has said that we will be seeing a full wardrobe – everything from knitwear to gowns and special occasionwear. Of course, Rocha’s signature tulle, pearls and jewelry-embellishments will also be making an appearance. H&M also reveals that Rocha has been spending time reflecting on her eponymous label’s archives, and has pulled information from past collections and styles and reworked them into pieces that feel right for today.

“I am so thrilled to be working with H&M on this very special collection. It truly is a celebration of the signatures of my brand, and the influences that have shaped me. As a designer, and as a customer, I’ve been such a fan of the H&M collaboration concept. Margiela, Alber Elbaz, COMME des GARÇONS – it’s such an amazing list of alumni to be a part of,” said Simone about the partnership.

The Simone Rocha x H&M collection will release on March 11, and will also celebrate a decade of her eponymous label. “This collection is informed with a similar desire to create hard-working pieces to be loved, cherished, and worn again and again. It is an invitation into the Simone Rocha world, and extended to all,” finishes H&M. Stay tuned as pieces from the collection are yet to be revealed.
