Takashi Murakami's Iconic Flower Motif Takes Over Hublot's Classic Fusion Watch
Arriving in a sleek all-black look.
Following the release of his special pancake pan, Takashi Murakami has incorporated his signature smiling flower motif onto another unexpected item. In collaboration with Hublot, the Japanese artist has released a limited-edition Classic Fusion watch.
Sitting on top of its sapphire crystal, the timepiece’s face is covered entirely with the flower and its 12 petals encrusted with 563 black diamonds. Featuring a spinning dial, the piece comes with a ball bearing-mounted carousel. In addition, the model was created using the Swiss luxury brand’s manufacture automatic UNICO movement with a 72-hour power reserve.
