Machine Gun Kelly Accidentally Stabbed Himself While Trying to Impress Megan Fox
After bruising his coccyx.
Machine Gun Kelly — who recently launched his own nail polish brand UN/DN LAQR — revealed that he once accidentally stabbed himself with a knife on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
Speaking with Fallon, the rapper recalled the day he bruised his coccyx (a bone at the base of the spinal column). After winning a beer pong match against Post Malone, MGK felt pressured during his walkout with multiple cameras filming him.
“Alright, every five steps I gotta do something cool ’cause it’s like 500 steps. So then every five steps I’d be like, and there was a staircase rail and I was like, yeah, great and so I hit the staircase rail and I rode it down,” he explained. “At the bottom of it, I didn’t see a giant spike… It rammed [me].”
With a bruised coccyx, he went home to show off to Megan Fox a knife that he had received as a gift from Travis Barker. “This was also right when I was starting to date, you know, Megan. I was holding it together. It was a bad night. I won the ping-pong match, I went home. Travis got me this. He got me a knife that had an engravement from the new album on it and I was like, ‘Oh, check this out, this is sick.’” He then shares that he threw the knife up, which came back down and stuck in his hand. “The next morning, as soon as she left, I was like ‘Yo, I need stitches real quick…’ A bruised coccyx and a knife in my hand.”
