New Video Captures Daytime Robbery at NYC Chanel Store

Showcasing four men taking off with handbags worth more than $160,000 USD.

The New York Post has just shared a video showing four armed men raiding a Chanel boutique in a robbery in Lower Manhattan.

The video captures the group arriving at the store around midday, and shows the four men snatching designer bags off the store’s shelves. Two men are shown holding the store’s doors open, whilst the others frantically grab as much as they could get their hands on. During the robbery, one of the store’s security guards tried to intervene by letting the robbers know she was armed, to which The Post reports “one of them showed her the butt of his gun and asked, “What are you going to do, shoot me?” in response.

Police has stated that the robbers made off with bags worth just above $160,000 USD, and drove off in a vehicle without license plates. As of now, no arrests have been made. Stay tuned as any more information surrounding the robbery surfaces.
