Take a Look Inside KITH's First European Flagship in Paris
Set to open its doors to the public on an appointment-basis this week.
KITH is set to open its very first European flagship in Paris, France this week. Situated at the heart of the Golden Triangle neighborhood, the store occupies three floors and the central courtyard of the historic Pershing Hall building.
Spanning 16,000 square feet, this is the brand’s largest store to date. The new space, which includes KITH Retail, KITH Treats and a KITH for Sadelle’s restaurant, will provide customers a one-of-a-kind shopping experience. In partnership with perennial design firm Snarkitecture, the sixth flagship features the label’s core design motifs blended with native French elements. Just like all other KITH locations, the shop showcases uniquely positioned plaster cast sneakers that complement the barrel-vaulted ceiling of the Carrara marble-tiled entryway. According to a press release, “the Air Max 1 was chosen as a tribute to France’s innovative Pompidou Center.”
Elsewhere, the entryway consists of an Accessories Lounge and KITH Treats stall that offers the brand’s cereal and ice cream. Designed by renowned botanist Patrick Blanc, the store boasts Blanc’s signature green wall creation, which has been reworked by French landscape design firm Jardins de Babylone. The courtyard comes with Tiffany blue seating where you can enjoy a delicious meal by Major Food Group’s acclaimed New York-based restaurant Sadelle’s.
In retail, visitors can shop from KITH’s men’s, women’s and kid’s apparel and footwear offerings. Additionally, the ground floor houses a rotating activation space that comes with immersive and experiential touchpoints. To celebrate the flagship’s opening, KITH has teamed up with Nike once again on a collaborative Air Force 1 that will be available to purchase exclusively at this location.
