Pepsi Is Launching PEEPS-Flavored Soda for Easter
Here’s how to get your hands on the marshmallow-flavored cola.
Pepsi has teamed up with the makers of PEEPS, the bunny-shaped candies that have become synonymous with Easter, to launch marshmallow-flavored soda.
The limited-edition drink combines Pepsi’s signature cola with PEEPS marshmallow flavoring. “After what has been a very difficult year, many consumers are looking for new things to smile about,” Pepsi’s VP of Marketing Todd Kaplan said. “To celebrate the start of springtime, Pepsi collaborated with PEEPS to develop a limited batch of its first-ever marshmallow cola. This PEPSI x PEEPS collaboration will be available in three bright colors through a distinctive mini-can design and will most certainly have fans buzzing all season long.”
The novelty soda won’t be available to purchase at supermarkets or convenience stores — instead, hopeful tasters can win cans of special drink by entering an Instagram photo contest. “Post a pic of how you’ll be hanging with your PEEPS candy this spring using @pepsi w/ #HangingWithMyPeeps + #PepsiSweepstakes for a chance to win your very own cans,” Pepsi wrote in an official announcement.
