Emilia Clarke Joins 'Secret Invasion,' Marvel's Upcoming Disney Plus Series

Emilia Clarke is set to join Secret Invasion, a series from Marvel Studios that will stream on Disney Plus. Though it’s unclear what role Clarke will take on, the Game of Thrones star will likely play a significant part in the forthcoming title.
According to Variety, Secret Invasion follows a group of shape-shifting aliens who have infiltrated planet Earth. Samuel L. Jackson will reprise his role as Marvel character Nick Fury, and Ben Mendelsohn will return as Talos, a member of the Skrulls. Kingsley Ben-Adir of Peaky Blinders and The Crown‘s Olivia Colman will also appear in the series, written and executive produced by Kyle Bradstreet.
There’s no word yet on when Secret Invasion will hit Disney Plus, so stay tuned.
