Libero's SS21 Capsule Collection Is a Family Affair
All pieces are handmade by brand founder Adam Appugliesi’s grandmother.
Italian-Canadian label Libero takes the expression “made with love” seriously. The brand’s Spring/Summer 2021 capsule collection, “Sulla Terrazza,” is entirely handmade by founder Adam Appugliesi’s grandmother, Michelina, a loving homage to family and the tradition of craftsmanship.
The quietly luxurious capsule is comprised of six unisex pieces. Italian linen shirts recall the breeziness of a waterfront vacation, while Japanese cotton vests and shorts are simple, refined separates easily mixed into any summer wardrobe. The “Sulla Terrazza” T-shirt is a visual translation of the collection’s name: the Italian phrase, which means “on the balcony,” is represented by an illustrated figure looking out onto the water from a terrace. A lace doily button-up and silver heirloom ring round out the thoughtful range.
Libero’s “Sulla Terrazza” SS21 capsule is available at the Libero website.
