Netflix Drops Ominous 'Stranger Things' Season 4 Teaser
Dr. Martin Brenner is back.
Netflix has released a chilling new teaser for Stranger Things season four, and things aren’t looking good for Eleven.
The trailer, which appears to be set at the Hawkins National Laboratory, hints at the return of Dr. Martin Brenner. A shadowy figure — who looks awfully like the ruthless doctor — walks down the hall of the dimly lit facility to greet a group of children who call him Papa, just as Eleven did. “I have something very special planned for you,” he says, and the camera pans to a door labeled “11.” “Eleven, are you listening?” the voice asks. Her eyes snap open and with that, the brief teaser goes dark.
Though it’s unclear whether the clip is a flashback or a dream, producers previously confirmed that Dr. Brenner is still alive. Netflix’s very first teaser for the upcoming season, released back in February 2020, revealed that another character presumed dead, Jim Hopper, is set to return. It’s safe to say that Stranger Things 4 will be full of twists and turns.
There’s no word yet on when Stranger Things 4 will premiere on Netflix, so stay tuned.
