Chef Chris Oh, owner of um.ma., Chingu Hawaii, BAP! and more, has unveiled his latest project to satisfy your Korean BBQ cravings. Currently only available in Southern California, Oh has invented a one-of-a-kind The Korean BBQ Car in order for those to experience the cuisine safely amid the ongoing pandemic.
The Scion xB car has been reimagined with a motorized table with a barbecue grill, mounted TV, strobe lights and speakers. Made for groups of four, the car comes with different menu options for you to enjoy. The standard selection includes four pounds of assorted meat (honey gochujang pork belly, Kalbi short rib and bulgogi ribeye), two bottles of soju and beer, as well as banchan (Korean side dishes) and steamed rice. Customers can also choose from optional items like Hwayo (a premium brand of soju), extra soju and A5 wagyu beef.
