Take a Look Inside Apple's New Tower Theatre Store in Los Angeles

Bringing life to the historic building first designed in 1927.

After much anticipation, Apple is finally opening the doors to its new Tower Theatre store in downtown Los Angeles.

Located in the historic Tower Theatre building on the corner of Eighth Street and Broadway, the store marks the tech giant’s 26th location in the greater Los Angeles area. “At every corner, LA bursts with creativity across the arts, music and entertainment, and we are thrilled to build on our relationship with this special city,” Deirdre O’Brien, Apple’s senior vice president of Retail and People, shared in a statement.

First designed in 1927 by theater architect S. Charles Lee, Tower Theatre now houses Apple’s full line of iPhone, iPad and Mac products with nearly 100 retail team employees. Before the opening of Apple Tower Theatre, the building had been closed and left unused since 1988. The interior features a grand stairway, marble Corinthian columns, stained-glass windows and a large chandelier.

Take a look inside the physical location, which will welcome its first guests on June 24 at 10 a.m. PST. The store will open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. from Monday to Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday.

In case you missed it, Apple’s Back to School promotion is now live.
