Evan Mock's RVCA Collection Is an Ode to Hawaiian Style
The ‘Gossip Girl’ star teams up with the classic skate and surf brand.
Evan Mock honors all things skate, surf and Hawaii with his latest project, a collaboration with RVCA. The model-skater-surfer, poised for stardom thanks to his role HBO’s Gossip Girl reboot, delivers a range of performance-ready wear inspired by his roots in Oahu.
Mock and RVCA’s partnership will see the release of three collections, each one representing a time of day. Beginning with morning, the duo present board shorts, short-sleeve shirts and beach blankets out of Palaka, a checkered cloth that originated in Hawaii. A series of graphic tees bearing surf-inspired graphics pay further homage to Mock’s home state. “RVCA low-key was always the company I wanted to ride for because it was such a family affair,” Evan said of the collab. “[Founder Pat Tenore] just gets it, and everyone at RVCA accomplished everything I wanted for the collection….This is a special one.”
The Evan Mock x RVCA “Morning” collection is available at RVCA’s website. “Noon” is slated to release on August 31.
