Starbucks Is Running Out of Supplies

Guava and peach flavoring, as well as oat milk, are particularly affected.

Some TikTok users have been sharing that certain Starbucks locations are running out of ingredients. According to Foodbeastthis has caused the coffee company to scale back its menu of beverages and treats.

The flavors most affected are guava and peach, while dairy alternatives like oat milk and breakfast sandwiches are also suffering supply shortages. In addition, venti cups are running low on stock. Starbucks confirmed the claims via its app, merely stating: “Current supply shortages.”

Starbucks isn’t the only company affected by this issue. Due to the ongoing pandemic, the shipment of supplies has slowed down, affecting other establishments in the food and beverage industry. “A lot of it stems from industry-wide practices to only keep as much inventory on hand as needed,” Foodbeast reported. “Called ‘Just In Time’ inventory processing, the tactic has harshly limited availability as shipping backlogs cause warehouses that didn’t stock up beforehand to run out of stock.”

The coffee giant has not yet disclosed when it will be able to fully restock its items. Stay tuned while we learn more.
