Isa Boulder's Winter 2021 Collection Brings the Heat

The Bali-based brand continues to push the boundaries of knitwear.

Isa Boulder, the Indonesian label founded by Cecilia Basari and Yuli Suri, has unveiled a Winter 2021 collection filled with fashion-forward knitwear and swimwear.

Known for its unconventional approach to design, this season, the brand continues to deliver a range of ready-to-wear pieces with offbeat twists. Besides revisiting their signature argyle pattern on dry and soft jersey styles, ranging from mini dresses in reversible colorways to gloves featuring strategic cut-outs throughout, Basari and Suri have also explored new ways of knitwear-making for this collection.

A large, open-knit pattern named “Urchin” forms intricately constructed garments in camel and lilac, while “Body Curl,” another standout style in the range, comes in the form of three-dimensional, wavy knit in monotone as well as multicolored iterations. It is also worth noting that a selection of pieces, from sleeveless tops to slinky dresses, feature a changeant ribbed knit in contrasting colors. Finally, not to be missed are popular Isa Boulder swimsuits, including one-piece styles and ruched-cup bikinis, in updated matte and satin colorways.

Take a look at the collection lookbook, shot by Priscillia Saada, above.
