Digital Artist MA MING Creates Face Filters for HYPEBAE
The creative explains her love for the AR filters in our latest interview.
Over recent years, AR face filters have taken over the social media world. From ones that virtually put makeup on your face to fun, three-dimensional works, filters have become of great importance in virtual interaction for Gen-Zers.
For digital media artist MA MING, face filters are a form of art, which she uses to express her futuristic style. “I love the idea of interaction. I think that filters allow more room for imagination and creativity as they rid the limits we often come across in reality,” she shares in our latest conversation. Born in Sichuan, China with an educational background in New York, MA MING continues to work with face filters, collaborating with companies like Meitu.
