Jil Sander Lenses Its SS22 Campaign in the Urban and Natural Spaces of Paris
The project is set to be published as a book.
“The most satisfying aspect of these campaign projects is working closely with the authors and our team,” Lucie and Luke Meier said in a press release. “Travelling, improvising, finding new dimensions in what we do. It is important to see the things you do in the world. And we are extremely happy of the affinity that bonds Chris and us together, and the way he expands the borders of our vision in the work we do together.”
The designers enlisted the help of Chris Rhodes to shoot the project in the urban and natural spaces of Paris that resonate with their vision. The sequence of images encompasses the values of touch, intimacy, honesty, trust, curiosity and carefulness, while documenting the brand’s aesthetic. Incorporating the language of modern photography and experimental cinema, the campaign’s story follows a group of city dwellers looking or waiting for things with a certain eye to happen unexpectedly.
Take a look at the photos above. Jil Sander’s SS22 campaign, a new chapter in the Meiers’ ongoing collaborative project, will soon be published into a book.
