HBO Max Releases 'Love, Lizzo' Documentary Trailer
“No matter what part of the story you come in at, I’m always chasing the music,” says the musician.
Back in May, HBO Max announced that it would release a documentary dedicated to Lizzo, covering the beginning of her career all the way to her rise to fame. After much anticipation the streamer has now dropped the trailer for the film, which is slated to premiere on November 24.
“This is the journey of a trailblazing superstar who has become the movement the world desperately needed just by being herself,” the synopsis of the documentary reads. “The HBO Max documentary Love, Lizzo shares the inspirational story behind her humble beginnings to her meteoric rise with an intimate look into the moments that shaped her hard-earned rise to fame, success, love and international stardom.”
“No matter what part of the story you come in at, I’m always chasing the music,” the “Juice” singer narrates a series of clips capturing her getting ready to go on stage. The teaser proceeds to show BTS moments from photoshoots, as well as images of the star when she was a child. “When I was a little girl, I would write these pop songs but I didn’t have the confidence in my voice,” she says.
