Diesel Creates Collectible Art Toy With Ultra-Mini 1DR Bags

Created in collaboration with Dolores.

Celebrating its bestselling 1DR handbags, Diesel has joined forces with the collectible toy brand Dolores to create limited-edition “Lethal Woman” figurines.

The design, embodying the playful and rebellious spirit of the Glenn Martens-helmed label, features the Dolores character wearing a classic red logo swimsuit. Holding a detached heart in one hand and a bloody knife in the other, a 1DR bag hangs on Dolores’ arm. Her look is complete with red eyeshadow and bold lips, along with blood-red tears and a matching headband.

The ultra-mini 1DR handbags are interchangeable, arriving with four colorways of the purse in matte and metallic finishes. The range includes white calfskin, bronze orange metallic, blue metallic and silver metallic iterations, which all don a tonal look with the iconic “D” logo on the front.

Created by Pony on Wheel Studio in China, Dolores takes inspiration from the dark comedy-drama series Why Women Kill. The character, born into a rich family in the ’60s, was fed up with living a controlled life and decided to escape an arranged marriage, later getting married to a man she loved. She found out her husband cheated on her, leading her to take his faithless heart forever.

Take a closer look at the Diesel x Dolores art toy above. Unfortunately, these are not for sale — they are exclusively available for Diesel members who spend a designated amount at stores in Hong Kong.
