Julia Fox's Latest Outfits Reference Her Teenage Dominatrix Days
The ‘Uncut Gems’ star’s sultry looks include latex and straps.
Julia Fox‘s most recent Milan Fashion Week outfits are seemingly paying tribute to her past. Years before Fox became a hot topic, she worked a handful of odd jobs, including a career as a dominatrix when she was in high school.
“This was back when Craigslist still had an ‘adult gigs’ section,” she told Rolling Stone in 2020. “I was scrolling, and in between ads for prostitutes, I clicked on one that said ‘no nudity, no sex.’ That appealed to me.”
The Uncut Gems star further explained how this particular occupation helped boost her confidence. “You’re given a few words on what the client’s interests are and then you have to build from there and improvise the rest. So imagine having to do that multiple times a day in different outfits — a nun, teacher, nurse, mom — according to the clients’ desires. I went in an angsty teenager, and left a really self-assured woman.”
For the Versace fashion show, Fox wore an all-black latex fit, which featured a long ponytail as a strap. Her other look was a black latex micro miniskirt paired with a skin-tight red latex top.
