Filippa K Debuts First Campaign With New Creative Director, Liisa Kessler
An homage to the Swedish tradition of ice bathing.
Swedish label Filippa K has debuted its first-ever campaign with its new creative director, Liisa Kessler.
The brand, which recently appointed its first successor to its founder Filippa Knutsson, reveals a capsule of swimwear pieces inspired by the Swedish tradition of ice bathing. The designs are a nod to the minimalist, classic styles of the ’90s while serving as a continuation of Filippa K’s sustainability efforts by using upcycled and recycled textiles. Pieces include two bikini sets and an asymmetrical one-piece, while the menswear offerings are comprised of board shorts and swim shorts. The collection is complete with an organic cotton beach towel.
Peep the collection via the campaign above and below, shot by Timothy Schaumburg and filmed by Gustav Stegfors.
