Harry Styles Will Perform at This Year's BRIT Awards
From ‘Harry’s House’ to Harry’s home.
Nominees for the 2023 BRIT Awards were announced last week and to no-one’s surprise, Harry Styles is at the top of the list. Nominated for ‘Album of the Year,’ ‘Artist of the Year’ and ‘Song of the Year’ as well as being included in the ‘Pop/R&B’ category, the singer has also just been confirmed to perform on the night.
No other performers have been confirmed as yet, but fans are already pretty excited for Styles to return to his London home because, let’s face it, it’s been a while.
Following the release, the BRIT Awards nominee list was met with criticism from music industry insiders and artists, noting that the ‘Artist of the Year’ category — which was recently made gender-neutral — didn’t include a single female or non-binary artist. What’s more, artists were quick to note that the ‘Pop/R&B’ category failed to recognize any R&B artists, further demonstrating the issues with combining genre categories that should technically be their own entities.
The 2023 BRIT Awards will take place on February 11 in London.
