Cou Cou Intimates Unveils Steamy New Category of Elevated Essentials

Exuding subtle sex appeal, just in time for Valentine’s Day.

Elevated intimates brand Cou Cou, continues to bridge the gap between lingerie and underwear as it debuts a new category of essentials: bodysuits.

Available in both “Black” and “White” with a $75 USD price point, Cou Cou’s new bodysuit category “fuses comfort and style,” shared the exclusive press release. Tapping into its next-gen approach, Cou Cou prioritizes its ethos and subtle sex appeal, imagined via organic cotton and a sustainable, conscious approach.

In an exclusive 2021 interview with Hypebae, Cou Cou’s founder Rose Colcord elaborated on the brand’s mission for femmes: “The mission of Cou Cou is to reclaim the underwear narrative [and to celebrate] our embodied female experience. Rather than looking [at ourselves] in the mirror, it’s about how we feel inside, how we live and how we engage with the world around us.”

The campaign picturing model and actor, Kiko Mizuhara, a woman exuding freedom and comfort in the Japanese Onsen hot baths in Tokyo, further confirms the brand’s mission. Mizuhara, pictured reveling in the hot springs and stopping to “smell the flowers,” exudes peace with oneself. An item once known for covering or hiding the body, Cou Cou elevates and rewrites the script of the bodysuit, offering comforting sex appeal, and embodying the “ethos of the Bodysuit’s promise of new beginnings.”
