NewJeans Is Levi's Newest Global Brand Ambassador
Following their latest collaboration with McDonald’s.
NewJeans, the K-pop group behind the TikTok-viral track “OMG,” has been named the newest global brand ambassador for Levi’s.
The quintet, comprised of Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Hearin and Hyein, was named NewJeans with inspiration from jeans, which are wardrobe staples that are classic and timeless. The brand and the South Korean music act noticed that they share similar philosophies, which led to the partnership arriving just in time for the 150th-anniversary celebration of the 501.
In a statement, Levi’s shared that its collaboration NewJeans arrives as part of a larger effort in reaching a Gen Z audience, noting that the K-pop group is loved for their bright energy and free aesthetic.
